For years it’s been the relied upon method for getting new clients to grow your Practice and rightly so, it’s one of the greatest indications you’ve delivered value to a business or individual and they now trust you enough to give you a recommendation!
However, for those who’ve been in Practice long enough, we know that referrals, whilst good, cannot be relied upon because it’s unpredictable i.e. you never know when you will get one, how many you will get (in a month), or the type of work or client you will get.
And this is a problem, especially if you have a goal of growing your Practice to an annual revenue target within a set time frame by acquiring your “ideal” type of client e.g. high quality and high fee paying.
The solution to this problem is having a predictable marketing and sales system working in parallel with the referrals that will attract “with laser focus” the exact type of client you want when you want them.
